The Department of Communication Science and Disorders offers a doctor of audiology degree (AuD) that provides students with specialized academic education and clinical expertise in the nature, diagnosis and management of non-medical hearing disorders and balance. The AuD curriculum exceeds the academic and clinical standards established by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and students are eligible to take the national examination and complete the clinical fellowship year leading to the Certificate of Clinical Competence and state licensure (in most states). See Communication Science and Disorders for MA/MS and PhD options.
