This multidisciplinary program, one of three majors leading to the Master of Public Administration, incorporates elements from economics, operations research, management science, decision theory, political science, and applied ethics to match the real world complexity of policy making and management in public and nonprofit organizations. The Master of Public Administration degree prepares students for challenging careers as policy analysts, strategic planners, organizers, consultants, and managers in local, state, and federal governments and organizations in the United States and abroad.
