The Law School offers a Certificate in Environmental Law, Science and Policy to J.D. candidates who satisfy the requirements of the program. Those requirements include certain basic and elective environmental law courses; enrollment in the Environmental Law Clinic or an environmental externship; and completion of a substantial written work focused on a detailed problem of environmental law. The purpose of the program is to develop lawyers who feel at ease dealing with the interdisciplinary demands of environmental law practice.
