The program consists of a tightly integrated, rigorous yet flexible curriculum consisting of three components: (1) core courses plus observed teaching activities focused on adult learning and enhancement of classroom and clinical teaching skills, curriculum development, professional development and leadership, innovative strategies in medical education, and medical administration; (2) a set of core courses to provide trainees with a standardized set of research skills; and (3) the successful completion of a mentored research or curriculum development project if in the MS program.
