The School of Law offers a Civil Litigation Certificate Program which allows students in the three-year J.D. program an opportunity to participate in a specialized program during their second and third years that concentrates on practical as well as classroom litigation training. Students who are admitted to this certificate program must take required and elective litigation-related courses, advise and represent clients in one of the School of Law's many clinic programs, and participate in moot court competitions. Students apply for admission to this program at the end of their first year of law school.
