The Department of Statistics offers master of arts, master of science and doctor of philosophy degrees. These programs are very flexible, allowing students various concentrations from applied statistics to theoretical statistics. Research areas include multivariate analysis, reliability theory, time series, and applications of statistics in psychiatry, neuroscience and biomedicine. The department also offers a master's degree in applied statistics which prepares students for professional employment in statistics.
